Palace of Westminster Tours

Sir Alan is always happy to accommodate groups of constituents, as well as school parties, who are interested in a tour of the Palace of Westminster. However, when Parliament is in session there are only certain mornings in the week when tours can take place. Demand is heavy and advance notice (2-3 months ideally) is required.

Tours are best conducted on Monday & Tuesday mornings, starting at 10.30am. If absolutely necessary Wednesday’s can also be used, but must start by 10.00 am. Tours usually last an hour and 15 minutes.

Sir Alan and his Parliamentary Assistant are usually more than happy to act as guides for any tours. However, if this is not possible then they will endeavour to arrange official guides to show you around.

It is also possible to organise a tour of the clock tower (Big Ben). However, space is extremely limited and there are a number of restrictions such as age and health. For more information, go to http://www.parliament.uk/visiting/visiting-and-tours/bigben/

To book a tour please contact Sir Alan’s office using the details shown [here].
